Q: After the install, I seem to be getting errors in other programs with file Riched32.dll

A: There are a number of different programs that require different versions of the file Riched32.dll. Our reservation programs can work with a number of versions of the file and so we no longer install it. Any download dated Aug 18, 2000 or later does not contain the file Riched32.dll. Please download the latest copy of the file to avoid this error.

Q: After I download Tour Tracker, and run TOURTRAK.EXE, it unzips itself and runs the wrong setup program.

A: If there is another file named SETUP.EXE in the directory you have downloaded TOURTRAK.EXE into, that setup program will be run instead. Rename or move the other SETUP.EXE file to another directory, then run TOURTRAK.EXE.  You can also move TOURTRAK.EXE to another directory and run it from there.

Q: 'Out of Memory' Error.

A: This was caused by memo fields and usually occurs on computers with less than 32mb of ram. It has been corrected on the download file tourtrak.exe as of 6-16-99.

Q: When I run TOURTRAK.EXE, it starts to install and then gives me error message 'Could not run setup.exe' or something similiar.

A: You are probably running an older version of Windows95, and the setup program needs a newer version of the file OLEAUT32.DLL. You will need to download and run the file msvbvm50.exeto update the files on your computer before setup will run. See the document here for more information: setup error.

Q: I get an error message stating that I need the files:  MSVCRT.DLL or  MSVCRT20.DLL

A: Most computers already have these files, and attempting to copy them over on our standard installation causes 'Sharing Violation' errors. You may contact us at support@toursoftware.com, and we will send you a copy that includes the files.

Q:When I try to run a report I get error 20526.

A: You need to have a 'default' printer specified in Windows. You may use the 'Add Printer' function, under 'Printers' on the Start Menu, to add a default printer.

Q: What is the default username and password for the demo?

A: The default user name is 'SUPERVISOR'. The default password is: 'TOUR'.

Q: When I try to run the program, I get the error 'The Jet VBA file (vbajet.dll) for 16-bit version, or (vbajet32.dll) for 32-bit versions failed to initialize when called', and the program will not run.

A: The file DAO350.DLL is not being properly copied onto your computer during setup. You will need to rename that file ( to something like DAO350.OLD ) while the computer in DOS mode, then reinstall the program. The newer version will be copied in during the installation.

Q: I'm getting runtime errors that say that there is a problem with file Dblist32.ocx?

A: All the Tour Tracker programs require a version of the file DBlist32.ocx that has a create date of 1997 or above. This newer version is included with our download setup program. However, sometimes during setup, this file is in use on the installing computer, and the older file is not overwritten. You simply need to replace the older version of this file on your computer. If you do not have a copy, contact us, and we can send it to you.
